「MUSIC NFT DAY 2022」は、Web3.0時代の音楽コミュニティーの拡張・発展をめざし、2022年より一般社団法人日本記念日協会にて認定された記念日「音楽NFTの日」に、「Music+Web3.0=Music3」というテーマで、ブロックチェーン上の一点モノデジタルオーディオデータ、音楽NFTを通じたファンダムエコノミー、クリエイターエコノミーといった様々な音楽の新しい表現方法の認知と普及を目指して開催される。2022年度は、音楽NFTのリリース、音楽ライブ、展示会、カンファレンス、ミートアップイベントなどの開催が予定されており、アーティストによる音楽の新しい表現の形と、リスナーが音楽NFTを手にする喜びや新しい音楽の楽しみ方の共有を行っていく。

また、販売されるNFT商品には一つ一つ固有のシリアルナンバーが入っております。その番号を持っているのは購入者のみとなり、購入者がその商品を「所有」することとなります。購入し受け取った商品は、アーティスト/版元から許諾が降りた商品のみ、The NFT Recordsのマーケットプレイスにて出品することも可能です。

The NFT Recordsは、環境に配慮した設計を心掛けています。
当社のマーケットプレイスでは、ブロックチェーンネットワークで一般的な、計算競争によるPoW (プルーフ・オブ・ワーク)というコンセンサスアルゴリズムを使っていないため、電力を大きく消費することがなく、環境に配慮した設計になっています。
