Well, this year is also a summer tradition.“Hiyashi Katsudon”will be on sale for a limited time in the summer from May 1st (Wednesday) .
“Cold, delicious, beautiful” We will offer this with all our heart as a limited edition product to enjoy the summer. Nice to meet you.

This year marks the 23rd anniversary of Hiyashi Katsudon, with cumulative sales of over 230,000 servings up to last year. This is all thanks to everyone who has always supported us. Thank you very much.

In addition to the soup stock, all of the meat and vegetables are prepared using non-chemical preparation methods. It’s delicious and healthy. We aim to create dishes that become beautiful through food.

1.Using freshly fried “tonkatsu” made using traditional methods
Katsukichi is a pork cutlet specialty store that has been in business for 65 years. The tonkatsu is made from carefully selected domestic brand pork, cut into thick slices, and then slowly fried in corn salad oil at a low temperature.
Tonkatsu is most delicious when freshly fried. We also use freshly fried katsudon for chilled katsudon.

  1. Cold rice and summer vegetables.
    Pour the cold soup stock over the white rice that has been washed under running water. Served with freshly fried tonkatsu, topped with summer vegetables (cucumber, okra, grated yam) and condiments (myoga, green perilla, plum, wasabi).
    Neri-ume is a blend of two types of Nanko-ume from Minabe, Wakayama Prefecture.

3.Special dashi soup with ice
Piping hot tonkatsu is finished with a special soup stock containing ice.
For the soup stock, we use “bonito flakes” from Makurazaki, Kagoshima Prefecture, “Makonbu” from Hokkaido, and “dried sardines” from Kujukuri, Chiba Prefecture.
We use special soy sauce made by Maruyama Jozo, a company with a history of over 100 years in Azumino, Nagano Prefecture. Blends “dark and light”.
