OCEANWINGS が海事メディア主催の 海事脱炭素会議で、脱炭素推進賞を受賞

船舶の最適化や海洋における脱炭素化、また持続可能性において新たな基準を打ち立てた船舶やプロジェクトを表彰するアワード。
今年、Vessel of the Year Award 2024を受賞したのは、世界初の風力アシスト付きハイブリッド産業用RoRO船「Canopee」で、オーシャンウィングスのセールス＆マーケティング担当副社長クリストフ・パユソー（Christophe Paillusseau）が授賞式に立ち会いました。同氏は受賞に際し、「カノピーは過去1年間、ウィングを搭載して航行し、1日平均1.3トンの（燃料の）節約に成功しました。この賞を皆さんと一緒にお祝いできることを嬉しく思います。」とコメントしています。

受賞者は、業界の投票結果に基づき、6部門にわたるMarine Propulsion Maritime Decarbonisation Awardsを受賞。Start-up of the Year, Green Finance Deal of the Year, Charterer of the Year, Technology of the Year, Vessel of the Year and Marine Engine of the Year, a seventh award for Lifetime Achievementを含む各部門で30名の候補者が最終選考に残り、
リヴィエラのチームによって生涯功労賞が選ばれました。
