TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING Co., Ltd. (HQ: Fukuyama, Hiroshima, Japan) will provide a live video of its ship launching ceremony, which occurs approximately every two months.

In this occasion, the ship is a KAMSARMAX bulk carrier (D/W 81,600 mt type bulk carrier) which we developed to be one of our major products alongside the TESS series. The name "KAMSARMAX" derives from the ship's length, which is the maximum possible for entry into the port of Kamsar in Guinea, West Africa. Kamsar is one of the world's principal ports for bauxite.
The ship has 7 cargo holds, with side-rolling type hatch covers for each. In addition, cargo hold hatchways are built at maximum width to improve the efficiency of loading and unloading. Grain crops, coal, and iron ore can all be loaded onto the ship. High density material such as iron ore can be loaded into alternating cargo holds, such as No.1, No.3, No.5, and No.7.
In addition, to reduce the fuel consumption, the energy-saving device, MT-FAST is installed at stern, and the engine with electronic control system is also adopted. In order to be more environment friendly, the fuel tank with double-hull, the ballast water management system, and the main engine certified NOx Emission Standards with Tier III are introduced.
