On September 23, 2014, KAMBARA KISEN Co., Ltd. (head office:Fukuyama, Hiroshima Prefecture) held a business orientation and networking conference for about 40 students and instructors from the Faculty of Economics at the UNIVERSITY OF NAGASAKI, at KAMBARA KISEN (CHINA) SHIPPING Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, China. The themes for this conference were KAMBARA KISEN 's international business activities and its importance in global shipping at the Port of Shanghai.

As one of the TSUNEISHI GROUP 's joint business-academic activities, this seminar was held in response to a request from the Department of Distribution, Marketing and Management in the Faculty of Economics at the UNIVERSITY OF NAGASAKI as part of the university's effort to develop global talent centered in Asia. After a tour of the offices of KAMBARA KISEN (CHINA) SHIPPING Co., Ltd., was given by Director Xiaoli Yang (also representative director at head office of Kambara Kisen Co., Ltd.), Director Mizuho Taniguchi of SHANG HAI KAMBARA INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORTATION Co., Ltd (also representative director at head office of Kambara Kisen Co., Ltd.) gave a lecture describing the current status of global shipping centered on the Port of Shanghai, logistics in China, and an overview of business activities among local KAMBARA KISEN subsidiaries. The networking session lasted an hour and a half, and at the end came a Q&A session in which the university students enthusiastically asked questions about KAMBARA KISEN 's international shipping business.
Director Mizuho Taniguchi remarked that "We would like to positively cooperate by holding seminars such as this in order to help develop the talents of people who can take a global perspective and work in the worldwide shipping industry."
